Childhood Cancer Awareness Month

Schmooze has teamed up with the Baller Dream Foundation to support Childhood Cancer Awareness Month this September. We will be running a round up campaign for all online orders the whole month of September with all customer donations going directly towards the Baller Dream Foundation to support childhood cancer awareness. In addition, $1.00 from every Iced Latte we sell during the month will be donated to the foundation. Donations can be made directly when ordering at one of our registers or table side.

The Baller Dream Foundation is a nonprofit organization that lifts the spirits of brave young cancer warriors, ages birth-29. The young people served by BDF are not called patients, but "Ballers". Baller is a modern-day term suggesting a person is doing well, feeling well, and in control. Ballers are incredibly resilient, courageous, and deserving of recognition for their tenacity and conquer-cancer mindset.

Baller Dream works closely with children's hospitals across the country and provides in-hospital, volunteer-led activities to help ease the minds of young warriors, as well as support for their families.
